The Fisher XLT-30A-H Acoustical Leak Detector is a high-performance tool designed for precise leak detection in swimming pool plumbing. The XLT-30 combines ultra-sensitive sound microphones with a distortion-free amplification system, providing clear audio feedback through high-performance headphones. It offers advanced filtering options, including all-pass, low-pass, high-pass, and band-pass filters, allowing users to isolate and identify leak sounds effectively across various frequency ranges. The XLT-30 is available with multiple sensor configurations, such as the Big Foot ground microphone, Multi-Sensor, or Little Foot, each designed to handle different surface conditions from hard concrete to soft turf.

The Fisher XLT-17 Liquid Leak Detector is equipped with Fisher's advanced Multi-Sensor technology. The XLT-17 excels in providing superior sensitivity to leaks while minimizing background noise interference. The compact design allows for effective detection across various surfaces, including hard surfaces like concrete and asphalt, as well as softer areas like turf. The Hydrophone Our stand-alone hydrophone unit is the quickest and fastest way to test main drains, lights and other wall fittings while standing on the pool deck. We offer 2 different head units: one with the high end LEAKGEAR 16 PRO or the Standard low end head unit. The LG16 PRO has the advantage of a filter for the frequency selection and a LED light bar for measuring the intensity of the signal. Our layout of attaching the Mic to an extension rod is much more precise than "throwing and dragging" the hydrophone across the bottom of the pool.

OUR RECOMMENDATIONS: When choosing between the XLT-30 and the XLT-17 size is an important factor. If your working out of a smaller pickup truck then you have little room for the large case of the XLT-30. In a bigger van dedicated to leak detection then the XLT-30 with the big foot probe is the proper choice. Lets make a note that The XLT-30 A-H we sell has a phantom microphone circuit required for an underwater hydrophone. It is a option that is welcome for a multi use instrument BUT we highly recommend a separate stand alone hydrophone unit that is less bulky and quickly deployed without lugging around a large case.
